Directory Browser Demonstration
You can use the control to the right in order to browse around the filesystem. Note how you’re limited to my personal site’s directory tree; you can’t climb any higher. The “about”, “blog”, “essays”, and similar directories correspond to sections of the site. You can also see a “dev” directory, where I occasionally test out things, and a few directory trees full of documentation. (Those are partly there just to give the list box a scroll bar, and to show some more nesting.)
You cannot see a few other directories that I explicitly told libdirbrowser to hide. You also can't see any .svn
directories; directories starting with dots are automatically hidden.
When you submit the form, the user-selected directory will be submitted in the “user_dir” variable. This particular form’s “action” value directs to a debugging script that will show you values passed to it.
